Fireplaces Closed Due to Fire Risk and Insurance Compliance
Please note that all indoor fireplaces at Mabalingwe have been permanently closed in response to fire risk concerns and per strict requirements imposed by our insurance provider.
To ensure the continued safety of our guests and the preservation of the bushveld environment, fire screens have been securely installed to prevent use, and signage is in place to indicate that fireplaces are no longer operational.
The current solution provides a safe and visually acceptable outcome that aligns with our insurer’s mandates.
We understand the fireplace has been a valued feature, especially during the colder months, but your safety and the Resort’s ongoing insurability must take priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
