We have finally been given the green-light to open our doors to welcome inter-provincial leisure travellers and we couldn’t be happier!

Mabalingwe Nature Reserve is thrilled to announce, that as per the latest Government Gazette, inter-provincial leisure travel has been approved. If you will be travelling for leisure, or even for some important business, we have officially opened to welcome you!

The Mabalingwe Nature Reserve team, alongside VRS-Managing Agent, remains committed to ensuring that the government-enforced regulations are strictly adhered to and that strict health and safety protocols remain in effect to ensure a safe holiday environment for all. These, and other, protocols have been implemented at your home-away-from-home for your protection.

While we all have to adapt to etiquettes to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, rest assured that we will continue to strive towards the same excellent service you have come to know and love. We believe that our self-catering chalets are perfect for social-distancing-friendly holidaying, and now is the perfect time for that epic holiday experience!

As part of our ongoing mission to provide a safe holiday environment for our guests, whilst simultaneously abiding by the government-enforced regulations, as outlined in the level-5, risk adjusted strategy; please take note of the regulations which have been implemented at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve.

	Guests are required to wear a mask, which covers the nose and mouth, whilst making use of public spaces.

	Security will, upon arrival, measure the temperature of each and every individual occupying the vehicle. Should any occupant’s temperature measure above 37.8°C, the vehicle will not be permitted to enter the premises.

	The dining facilities, by law, are required to close at 22:00, daily. For this reason we ask that guests place last orders by 21:00. All public spaces are required to be vacated by 22:00.

	Select facilities and activities may be restricted or operate at a limited capacity, as is permissible under government regulations. Please be in touch with the Lodge directly for further clarification.

	Housekeeping will be kept to a minimum throughout your stay to ensure social-distancing is upheld. Please be in touch with the Lodge for any additional housekeeping arrangements.

	Mbali Day Spa facilities are open, in line with strict health and sanitation protocols. Bookings are essential, to allow for adequate cleaning and preparation, as well as to ensure that appropriate social distancing etiquettes are followed.
